I get your point but the problem is soccer has a 'referable' incident every two or three minutes.... the game could go into day two !!

You obviously paint every English person with the same brush..
I think KP split people down the middle,he was hardly given hero status.
To me he was a South African in England earning a good living, like a lot of overseas sports stars and tipsters.
Im sure if the money and kudos was available in Africa, then they would still be in Africa.
That's what gets on my wick, posters having a constant dig on everything british. and some are over in the UK earning a living.
If you have that much animosity, why don't you leave?

regarding Suarez,he was fine when Liverpool signed him and re negotiated a fat salary. Not many clubs wanted him because of his behaviour. They have been brilliant to him and he repays them by firstly, trying to get a move by blaming media harassment because the Spaniards are interested. Then he does the disgusting act of biting a fellow pro twice while at Liverpool.

if anyone posts that he has been witch hunted, you are sadly mistaken. Please let him go to Spain.
But surely Barca and Madrid must have 2nd thoughts about signing him.
He is out of control and needs medical help

I'm sorry you feel that way. Read my posts again on this topic and if you still feel that was not a balanced view, then we will never agree on anything. Debate means having different views, but I believe you cannot debate if you are not willing to be swayed. That sort of thing is prevalent everywhere not just with the british, check the welcome suarez is getting in his country after what he has done. Patrotism. Each to his own who are we to question it.

Alterego,your right.Its about opinions.

But to say the backlash for Suarez is expected because he knocked England out of the World Cup is way off mark.
Google press releases after that match.Hardly any bad press for Suarez, most were complimentary about his performance.
He played a good game considering he was not fit.its
Maybe the Uruguayans bite each other all the time, thats why they have big teeth:D,
im sick and tired of people trying to find a reasonable explanation for what he did and blaming everyone else but him.

He is scum,pure and simple.

@davetheflower , I may not agree with what you say but I will respect your right to say it. My backlash judgement was based on a comparison to how the dylan hartley issue was covered. Not defending suarez, just saying things should be put into perspective. The victim feels his punishment is harsh, for me that adds perspective as for as disgraceful an act as it was, there are worse sports crimes as mentioned in my first post.
