Looking for Lynton Ryan
10 years 11 months ago
Hi all,
Does anyone in this forum have contact details for Lynton Ryan?
His father was Terry Ryan, a long time Durban trainer, and Lynton
used to train in Port Elizabeth many years ago. My brother had
horses with him, and would like to get in contact with him again.
If you can help, please PM me.
Thanks
Greg

Wow that brings back memories Greg-I lived in PE for a while in the early 80's and spent a lot of time with Lynton ( including watching match of the day at some hotel up Cape Rd somewhere) and most midweek afternoons at tattersalls, racing other centres.
I know that he moved back to Durban and bumped into him at the races a few years ago.
I would start tracking him in Durban amongst the racing fraternity.
( I would think Titch might well know-I think Lynton was friendly with Manne Fortune?)

I do recall a Rob that used to come into PE Tatts years ago,
and used to sit in my cubicle with Lynton. Could that have been
you?. I have been a licensed bookie in PE since 1978, so am
showing my age.
