8 pages of postings already!
Race 3, Campanajo: #2 SHOGUNNAR; showed a glimpse of class in his last start; nice to see jockey de Melo in hot form; trainer van Zyl is in form; I think he's worth 15/2 and 7's are available
Race 4, Gold Vase: #11 MAGIC SMOKE; going for five in a row and some of which were easy and impressive; has shown class; trainer Azzie is in form; imo worth 5/1 and 8's are available
Race 5, Golden Slipper: #12 RICH GIRL; very impressive when winning her previous runs; has some class; on my ratings she is 4 pounds ahead of my 4th-rated; hot Marcus/Laird combo; I think she's worth 9/1 and 12/1 is available
Race 6, Golden Horseshoe; #6 GUINESS; undefeated in two life-time starts; he was easy and impressive in his 1st start; very classy; on my ratings he is 7 pounds ahead of my 4th-rated; hot Marcus rides; imo he is worth a firm 3/1 and double that is available
Race 7, the July; #16 FUTURA; lightly raced and arguably well weighted; was easy and impressive when winning his previous runs; a beaten favourite in his last start; 9's are available
Race 8, Thukela; #8 NIGHT TRIP; was easy and impressive in his penultimate start; has shown some class; imo he could be 3 pounds better than his current rating; I think he's worth 9/2 and 10's are available
Race 9, Garden Province; #2 HAMMIE'S HOOKER; going for a hattrick; easy and impressive in her last two starts; imo she has a huge weight advantage over the 3rd-rated; jock Fayd'herbe is hot; I think worth 19/10 and 3's are available
Prosperous punting

Race 7 - Wylie Hall...I have been looking for a older horse and went through collateral form with other older horses and if there was a run that crossed with younger horses...all of it's runs crosses with other older runners and through the Lockheed Jetstar run in the Horse Chestnut (where Lockheed Jetstar ran pretty much to it's rating), it crosses with Rakes Chestnut and therefore the 3 year old form...
+-40/1 is a massive price on the horse and it is my E/W pick for the July...
Interestingly almost all speed ratings point to the 3 year olds...but, as I think them 1,5-2 kgs too high in the weights, I'll trust the collateral exposed form...
All the best to all the Clanners for today...whatever your selections are and whether correct or not...ENJOY !!

For the July I like the 1st 3 past the post in the daily news and Mike De Kocks filly as an outsider of sorts.
