Match Fixing
10 years 11 months ago
FIFA are investigating the possibility of match fixing by 7 Cameroon players after a well known match fixer won money on Cameroon having
a player sent of in the first half and then losing 4-0 to Croatia. There are also unconfirmed other proof of this occurring.
Ghana players threatened to boycott there last game unless they received large amounts of cash from their football federation, the money was flown out
to Brazil prior to this match. This was the flame that ignited trouble and led to two players being sent home.
Thankfully Algeria did Africa proud last night, they were superb in their play and commitment.

Gone are the days of playing for pride and your country hey... I heard the Germans get the least amount of money than any other nation participating the tournament.

they make racing look pristine

The players not corrupt and put their bodies on the line every time but the referees / assistants and TMO's and the amount of home-town decisions sure gets one to ask who has the referees in their pocket !!!:S:(

Player already told him what he would do during game...a bit like the cricket fixers pre-arrange with the players what will happen when...

I would say sensationalist reporting once again. The majority of journalists have no idea how betting works nor how one would make money from it. It's not to say the Cameroun players aren't guilty of anything considering they almost never got on the plane to Brazil and have been moaning about loot, however some clearer indications would be appreciated :)o

there must be something to the story is the Cameroon Football Association have stated that their are SEVEN rotten apples in their squad.
I watched the game, the red card was not from a l;ate tackle or last defender foul. But from a player striking another,he elbowed Mandujic
in the back from behind while chasing him.
I thought at the time, the ref had no option but to red card him.

but they have to be really thick to do such an unusual set of circumstances in one game.
