Was a super ride. He analyzed the situation perfectly, decided the pace was as nifty as that of a snail on a Saturday afternoon stroll, and took the iniative.
Pleased for Milliotis and McNabb, who are loyal Sage (how well has he done of late) patrons, and have invested large money in our industry.

Got the name 'Striker' for his great finishes, but me thinks he has forgotten how to do it. He has the uncanny ability to always bring the unexpected horse to win. i.e Mentor.

Got the 'Cape Sizzling Summer Season 2006/2007' dvd from the sales at Germiston. It shows great finishes ridden from the back, by Strydom.Would like to see him do that again.

Element Strydom has ridden often for me and quite a few winners..he is an absolute professional very intellegent and always does his homework..things he does which many punters dont see are the way he teaches horses during races..either to settle or bounce out fast etc and that you wont get from many other jocks..Buddy Maroun rated him the best he had ever seen and that in itself is good enough for the likes of me.
