Just for those of you who think we don't need new rules to protect the punter :
Here's a new record. Opened an account with Justbet.co.za and fica'd it.

Then I got this email :

We regret to inform that we have not approved your application for a betting account with Justbet as per our terms and conditions below:

“4. Intralot –
(i) reserves the right to –
· accept an application for a new account;
· decline an application for a new account for any reason whatsoever;
· stop accepting bets, close or suspend an account from a Customer in its sole discretion for any reason, which reason Intralot will not be obliged to furnish or disclose to the Customer or any other person”

No further communication will be entered into in this regard.

Regards,

The Justbet Team

If people are being given licenses who refuse to lay bets, something is wrong with the system.
For the record :

Betxchange lay me 50k of a horse
Hollywood lay me 30k
Fsc 10k
Sunbet 10k
Playabet 10k
Bettingworld 5k
Lance MIcheal 5k
WSB 5k

And I have lost this year.

The people who cant even lay 5k of a horse should hand in their licence.

Sounds like the industry should be protected from them

I did get my R500 bonus when I opened my account last week with Justbet without even taking a bet. An online bookmaker did do a credit check when I tried to withdraw a huge sum back into my account cos it appeared in my free credit report.

Nobody sticks me in anywhere, ever.
I back what I think is a big price.

These people never even allowed me to start betting.

That's what I mean, how did they know to block you ?

Why did they not clear you to punt ?
