South African Jockey team - not everyone is happy

The format for the Jockeys International was that the top 4 on the log were chosen and then the 5th and 6th jock were wildcards selected by some sort of panel.

This year however the top 4 excludes Lerena (5th) Delpech (6th) and Marcus (7th) so will the format change ?

Who would you leave out ? They are all established guys albeit Lerena does not have the pedigree of the other two. His dad Tex is very much involved in the event.

I hear that all is not well in the camp........

Given his current form it would be impossible to leave Gavin Lerena out of any SA team, the man is a genius and will hold his own against any rider...

Dave the official top 4 are Bling, Richard Fourie,Muzi and Striker , Anton is a no brainer for the wild card position and I believe the 6th spot should be Gavin..jusy my opinion

I know the SA jocks want to show case their talents, bit do they really care that much about this event?

Bob that ride has to go down as the worst I have EVER seen!!!

To me, he looks like he is riding a rocking horse...

The the wild card should be for each different province (the leading Local rider after those selected on the National Log)

Nothing wrong with having a different team in each region all together

Leading young rider
Leading apprentice
