10 years 9 months agoI doubt Mr Goss would allow the eradication of his Legacy - I'm sure if true he would either have a long handover period or would stay on with his staff as shareholders if it is truecolors wrote: Could learn to plant onions in a year but breeding thoroughbreds im not sure

Well five years ago you could buy onions at between R1,10 and R7 a kg
After BEE whatever bought out a couple of major farms that range is now at R4.5 to R9
and you cannot get the quality we were used to

Well 25 years ago I could not walk in certain restaurants and enjoy that good quality onion! Whats the colour of skin got to do growing onions or being in any type of business. You are Color blinded. A couple years ago a person was taken to the Human Rights Commission in this very same site for offensive comments and won and had to apologize. Think what you say cos see where Smanga is riding today, in Royal Ascot. I guess the peroxide helped him in his case to be a champion and not his talent.

Gold was $923 in 2009 and now is at $1300 so I doubt BEE has anything to do with the cost of Onions just natural inflation
