South Africans who are used to the rubbish fare dished up the local bookies are in for a treat when the exchanges are finally licenced!!

Betfair was the ultimate but Interbet have the capability to follow but would require the liquidity to make it work in SA if the punt/lay was open to ALL it could be the injection to make " in a rush " find the new yuppie market to get on board
However I did post this 5 years ago

In running betting is the biggest thrill. I only use Hollywood and sometimes find the betting options in a live event boring. I can understand being conservative in your approach, but if you are advertising a bet, then have all the options available
Also, and maybe this is unfair criticism from me, I find the delays 7 or 10 seconds to accept a bet, too long. Already there is no live sports coverage. Every 'live' game reaches our viewers about 5-10 seconds later because the public must be protected against the possible Janet Jackson Nipple at the superbowl, or the streaker at the british open, or a flashing boob at loftus.
Now Hollywood or other betting shops have another 7/10 seconds to decide if they want to keep the odds and accept a bet.
Granted, the bookie is exposed in live games, more so than in horse racing in my view, but at least make it more 'fair', I say.
Anyway, I still enjoy the thrill of live in running betting

When they talk about "its a rush" trading in running is what that is!
Leon,I don't know if you ever used Betfair ,but I think any that did, will confirm that it is just another world, compared to what we get locally|
I find too many markets suspended or price changes inhibit getting bets on ................used to more markets and laying back to trade.........sigh!!!!!

Sadly, I have not tried Betfair. Surely will try.
But the reality in SA is gloomy at the moment, as you say Rob
