would be interesting if they both missed the money!

What will the Stipes do if they both run true to old form?

think they will run to form..especially the 1 in the last.....think he would have put them away ,especially if the got the lot last week,if they were not expecting good efforts....the way the last one won, after being 3 wide..certainly suggests that it can defy the penalty

LOL  Interesting observation, they will probably both win again but if my instincts are correct I believe the surprise package will most likely be in the 1st on Kotze's horse Screaminthru, I could be wrong but I have this nagging little voice in the back of my head that tells me so.

I would be surprised if the 2 "coup runners" did not run well again as it would go some way to justifying the return to form.
However if you analyse the situation ,that argument is theoretically meaningless.
Lets see:
1)Wind at your Back: highest rating 77 last week 60 advantage 8,5 Kg .rating today 65 advantage still 6Kg.
2)Elegant Bay : highest rating 79 last week 66 advantage 6.5 Kg rating today 70 advantage still 4.5Kg
Both horses still in with a big chance!! .......without the surprise..............lol

for what its worth dynamic stars new sand rating after last weeks run has gone from a 53 to a 66 but today he runs off his old mark of 53 so theoretically he is 13 pounds well in..lets hope he can reproduce his last effort and it wasn't a flash in the pan..

Very wary of the card today. Not only is there the Kotze factor playing with the heads of some, including the one in the first, there are a few horses out today whose form is generally poor but who pop up with the occasional good run and these do not look the strongest of fields, particularly if the more fancied ones don't perform.
I have done the Kotze double, I think Elegant Bay won so easily lto, it is almost impossible to oppose with confidence. WAYB I am less sure about given the opposition and actually think Black Pepper and Atso Time will fight it out (but thoughts along similar lines did me no good last week!!). I have also done a small treble but, really, Screaminthru shouldn't win imo
The Rugg and Cliffie Miller stables appear to me to be coming back to some decent form and their runners should not be disregarded lightly (and, in the case of Rugg, the trainer himself believes so - in general, not specific to today) too based on interviews I have heard, with Cliffie Miller not even the jocks are allowed to help the punter so who knows)
Watch out for the raiders, no surprise to me if Binda has a treble today.
R3 Agree with Pirates, My Beloved. Biggest danger for me is Imperial Coast
R4... not sure about any staying the d strongly. Melody Pipa perhaps is the right one but very short in the market and definitely not one I would have a single bet on.
R5 Probably Stone Reeves but more open than it perhaps appears and Claverhouse could be lot more competitive than the price suggests is likely.
R6 Tiger Tales looks the most likely to me based on the last two runs at Bingo. The two Ziets runner have chances, slight preference for Dynamic Star of the two but the draw could prove troublesome. Carry On Captain in the vicinity. Idiot nibble for me is Albertdotcom, time has obviously passed etc but this one just beat Secret delight to come out of the maidens and the latter has beaten some of these rivals since, if the CM stable is indeed coming into better form then not to be overlooked imo.
R7 Kingofthecastle from Tribal Code. Nagger for shock possibilities with no good reason - Typhoon Tash
R8 Creative Stripe must have a good chance but I have a preference for the disappointing to date Campbell Black, think it was an imroved run lto and a repeat could be good enough. Of the more regular bingo runners, Random Al and Miesque's Critic made most appeal with Sugarforhoney the R1 idiot
Be(s)t of luck to all
