do stipes ever check reason for scratchings ?

I notice that royal quest is scratched trained by bill human..reason given at 8.47 is TRANSPORT BREAKDOWN..amazingly she ran on Saturday and amazingly mr zietsman didn't mention her in his message to bob this am ..was she not going on the same float as the others to Kimberly or do they not want to incur a 12 day suspension therefore give this poppycock excuse so she can run within 12 days...or maybe she was being flown to flamingo park..what a load of bullshit

A good point, cos you're right ,but of course, makes the reason given,even more strange??................but maybe it doesn't really matter as it may just one of the many rules the regulators take no interest in, anyway!
