Bob, apparently Viagra helps! Maybe you can send Pirates some scissors to cut off those full cup blinkers he wears over his one eye when commenting on GC and Natal racing. :lol: Seriously, is Vaughan going to Jhb because of the restrictions or because he does not like Summerveld? Would he have gone to Ashburton? The article does not mention that. I will be very interested to see how many horses with a merit rating of less than 76 are taken to Jhb by the Cape trainers. Brett did very well from Summerveld and Weiho came down to Natal with his string and did well from Ashburton.

Its the Sporting Post you talking about.
They almost never have a decent thing to say about GC. Of course they will deny doing selective reporting but to me, the choice of words shows a biased viewpoint.

this whole restriction story is beginning to remind me of the sport quotas that are in place but the major difference is they put in place cos the vast majority were in fact hugely disadvantaged unlike whats happening with the trainers story

Trainers like Keith Dalglish and Goldie in the UK travel their horses 1000`s of km weekly,without boxes at racing centres

South African trainers have it too easy, they need to stand on their own feet a bit more imo
