when hughes rode here last year he rode the rest of the jockeys to sleep hopefully he comes back this year but sadly they wont be appearing in dbn this year thks to guess who

Not signaling out marcus, but using him as example. Why is he the "best".. i dont think he is, yes he is good, but when you ride the quality of the horses that he does in races where there is often more biltong than race horses, he is bound to have winners. Imo, striker is the best. I mean on countless occasions you hear trainers in post race interviews mentioning they were confused and baffled why their horses showed in training but not on race day, so they ask striker to jump aboard and boom, he makes it happen.. he is like a blady horse whisperer and great jock all in one. I dont think anyone can touch him.
