An afternoon Punt in the greater Durban area

Wondering where the KZN guys go if they feel like an afternoon punting. Looking more towards the west side of Durban, (hillcrest)

I know there are good facilities at marshalls out umhlanga way and I enjoy both Hollywood branches in umgeni and argyle, and also when necessary go to club tab.

Just wondering if there is anything more local for those days up this way and if not are there any bookmakers on this site that are looking to franchise / open up this side. I have investors chomping at the bit for something like this.

I have just returned from the north and south coast of KZN. What I realised is that KZN is a lot more punter friendly than Gauteng. There seemed to be a lot more amiable bookie outlets. I recommend their eisbein at the Peg and Punter in Port Edward :)

we have had three bookies up in hillcrest, the first was terrible ,the second trainers and friends were entertained with free food and drinks whilst there was only acoke machine for the ordinary punters, the third was at the tote where you have no chance to get a bet on due to people taking soccer bets.i also think there is a problem of finding a suitable location to set up a decent size bookies to attract people.

Ive only known of the one that was at the tote and agree it was shocking.

I really enjoy going down to a Holywood franchise and having a curry and an afternoon bet in a decent facility. Cant understand why we cant get something of the same in Hillcrest or at least within 15kms.
