Not to the horse Craig...maybe I should say that not everyone comprehends the actions of their deeds as quickly as others....

This game we love is about the animal. Are we defending an individual, his ego, or his passion for the animal? Or none of the above? In my view anybody in the game should be all about the animal. It is all or nothing in my eyes
But it is an interesting debate. For once I miss 2 days on the forum and I miss all the fun!

This is the same as the terrified young boy/mother/maid passing the yard that has a dog and perhaps throws a stick or a stone to warn/ward off the menace.Out comes the property owner in time to witness the throwing incident and then all hell breaks loose and there is no end to the utterances of swear words by the owner
Im questioning your use of the adjective "little" to describe the filly and your mentioning of names of people that are held in high regard to substantiate your account. To me that is the giveaway
And for a trainer to use a word as dickhead on a public forum to describe an individual who has recently won the EC Jockey championship is questionable
And as for Debi and her tantrums i agree with Titch get a life and dont act as many privileged people in this country do

As for you Titch don't ever come near my horses . The person that threw the crop should
go find a job that he likes and stay away from horses .
Its disgusting and unacceptable the way so many of these most magnificent beasts are treated at the training yards ???
I have never witnessed such an immediate and unwarranted response from any sensible thinking "professional" in my rich life and that on a public platform
What horses do you own Miss debi ?
Oh and as for the "as for you " part it smacks of the ARROGANCE that is so prevalent today
Its a pity (for you)your ideal world has to include people

So when i read the responses here i wonder if there is no truth to claims by the grooms that they are physically threatened and abused by some trainers
Why i say that is because they dont have a platform to air their side of the story

Colors, if he had just said sorry he was not thinking we would not be here. Instead I got a foul mouthed tirade and when Tony said he was wrong and should apologize for his behavior he just ignored him.

Craig I will say well done for intervening and not keeping quiet like most in racing always try to do, sweep it under the carpet
Cruelty of any kind towards innocent animals should not be tolerated but I guess there are some who only care about the almighty buck and couldn't care less about how they get it
As for Muzi I hope the authorities give him the punishment he deserves imo

I wonder if this person has done something like this before or if it's just something that he did without thinking . Hopefully it's the latter and if not then stern action should be taken otherwise other horses could get hurt

Yep, we'll we are only human after all with plenty of flaws but because we are human we have the ability to reason and to differentiate between right and wrong. Unfortunately at times we don't learn from our mistakes

My experience with M and opinion of him as a person and jock is a good one. Well mannered young man with a great sense of humor. Just maybe he has a short fuse and needs to learn to control it. An anger management course will help. These "out-bursts" are making him very unpopular and he is doing himself no favours behaving like this.
Craig maybe M is a Sharks supporter as well and the stress of the whole JW saga got to him !? :silly:
