Runners today:
Race 5 King of the Deep. Does not have the best of draws, so will need some luck in the running. He is well and should be a contender in this race, although it is very competitive. Seaclipper is consistent and has the plum draw, so may be the one to beat. Familiar Chat is an interesting runner- has been cunningly placed in conditions races after the massive drop in MR and his last two runs have been well ahead of his handicap. The appie allowance helps him further, and he could be the joker in the pack.
Race 6 Do you dance. Gets a nice draw in another very competitive handicap, and despite being a 6 yr old, she remains keen, and hopefully she can challenge strongly today.
Venita improved significantly last time and has been very kindly treated by the handicapper, and if she repeats is the one to beat.

Other races
R4 Crackpot looks a very interesting runner after a smart debut and a good draw. There isn't much between Sissy Gray, Princess Eleanor and Lady Silvia, although I have a slight preference for Lady S of these 3.
R7 Silverano ran a very good race last time, and is a big runner if repeating. Silent Partner has been consistent of late and must be respected, while Political Playboy and Indian Hawk are capable in this class.
R8 Arniston looks hard to beat- Frederick Fox looks the main danger, then Pigeon Flyer and Blast for minor money.
