For me the Turffontein card looks a lot more difficult.

R5) - I fancy the chances of Yer-Maan. Being a 7 time winner, he looks well treated at the weights. The two "ladies" in the race, Rodeo Sioux and Sisters Of Mercy, have never won against the boys, that's a concern for me. The concern with Yer-Maan is that he has never run on the inside track and he is returning from a break.

R6) - if the MR's are correct, then Bezanova should be hard to beat.

R7) - if Majmu see's out the trip, she will win this.

R8) - the pace of the race will determine the outcome. I'm going to brass Rake's Chestnut, he is returning from a rest and the distance looks too short, if it was a 1600m race, he would have a fair winning chance on ability alone. The Van Zyl stable should win this, and I'm siding with No Worries. I assume De Melo is the stable jockey and would have had the choice of mounts. He did ride Heart Of A Lion last time but has "chosen" to ride No Worries this time round, I could be wrong. Purely on MR's, Heart Of A Lion is out at the weights with No Worries. For Strydom to win the race, he would have to go at an absolute crawl and turn it into a sprint for home. Having said that, No Worries does race fairly handy and could set he's own pace and try an outlast them himself. No Worries for me  .

Agree Dave, thought she would open up around 5/10. In interviews MDK always said he was amazed she sprints so well as she will be better over a mile. From a good draw will be very hard to beat even if not fully tuned up.

Race 1 - 1
Race 2 - 1
Race 3 - 1
Race 4 - 1
Race 5 - 2
Race 6 - 1
Race 7 - 12...despite skepticism about rating...I see now +-8/10 so I will ignore and just watch the race...
Race 8 - 1,2
Race 9 - 1

All the best to all Clanners for today...

If <5/10 to place, IGNORE...

Yermaan has had 3 wins and 4 places from 12 starts on the inside track - so I think he is a big runner, especially as Rodeo Sioux is coming off a rest while Jason Dedekind did mention on USO that he believed that the Soma stable had a bit of a virus 2 or 3 weeks back - so RS probably not at peak; also Tim Woodruff suggested the same for Sisters of Mercy

I am sticking my neck out and suggest that Bezanova (despite looking a sure thing at the weights) will get beat. I am taking a chance on Lava Flow to improve on his easy maiden win and win this race where only Flawless Gem and Romeos Phantom have no chance.

Don't think Majmu can be beaten

No Worries has an obvious chance, but I also think Midnight Run is a big runner here and may be the main reason why Cormack is making the trip to Gauteng today

Tricky card - enjoy B)

My apologies Frodo, I obviously was looking at the runs over the distance, which is zero, however he did run close up over 2450m. Let's hope Striker can bring this one home.
