Probably a silly question but how can we eat many slices of french toast and never the same with normal bread and 10 pints of beer but never the same quantity of cold drink??

Hope they don't use the same oil in the chippy as the fish when they do the Mars bars?

I used to love the french toast at boarding school when I was just a tot. Even in my mid life I continue searching for exactly the same french toast but never find it. :(
