Fair and always big fields because it was obviously fair as I've stated... Sadly that's gone, now I enjoy the UK flat season as well as Dubai and then I follow racing in SA but only really bet on the big days! I used to never miss taking the PA P6 JP and quartets at Newmarket on a Tuesday night but for me sadly there is no vibe like that in SA anymore............
your thoughts are multiplied a million times over and one only has to read the figures on local horseracing in the latest Phumelela results to confirm this....the word fair when it comes to a lot of racecourses doesn't exist

Morning Craig. I am going on which meetings I most look forward to. I prefer bigger fields where it is possible to find horses with a chance at double figure odds, hence why WC and Greyville probably feature so poorly, though I think at those places my perception has always been that they crawl until the final bend and i find it a very poor spectacle. Maybe they do elsewhere but my perception has always been it is worse at those tracks. I also have very little trust in WC racing. And these places always seem to have generally closely matched horses, one wins one week, another the next and so on but the form is always so close that it is very difficult in most races to identify which one will be best on the day. I am not stupid, I don't ask that the winner be obvious at a huge price (though that would be nice lol) but, I like a puzzle and at the end of my work on that puzzle I like to have the option of backing one with a chance at decent odds... that is primarily I would guess why my personal preference comes out as it does. Clairwood would have been top 5.

For me my favorite region to punt also varies at different times of the year. My favorite course at the moment is the Greyville Poly.

I wish we could arrange the fields but we have to merely study what is presented and wherever I can find horses with an edge, is my favourite centre!!!!!! and it changes all the time ............Western Cape is my least favourite. only because I hate having my money on a horse that is blatantly going better than the field, but is stopped in its tracks on the inside rail, and it happens too often there!
