Bushranger race 1 could be worth a few bob

The yard is flying and interesting he's back for a run this late in the season after being out since July

EXPLAIN R2 @ Ayr. Seems to have been improving during 3 races with decent run last time when trying to make all over 7f and now dropped back to 6f.

Trainer not had a runner here since his first season (2001) when he was 1/2 so maybe significant.

Don't like races at Ayr much with Multi Fahey/Goldie entries so usually leave them alone but think TRIXIE MALONE could be worth a look (5.10) . Had good form early on when softish ground was about and been off for 4 months or so maybe waiting for right ground again. C/D winner to boot. Any reservations I have with this would concern the jockey with a lousy record here and not the horse.

Tricky last race at Ayr (as betting shows) but think whilst ROYAL DUCHESS is a 12 race maiden it might be worth a tickle. Has had 3 decent runs at Ayr ( 2 with Megan Carberry up) and shows that soft ground no problem.
