Expected Vincente to be shorter than 2/1

Gigantic runner, especially drawn inside most of his rivals

Bayern, not having a bet in R7 is probably the wise move lol but I do like to try to find ones at fairly decent odds so I can have an interest and, as I am sure you are aware, I often struggle in CT to find them so I was quite pleased to find a few that at least made me look a little closer today rather than my normal skim through :) On looking again at CJ, I concur, there are possibilities. So, thank you, I will use that one as my exacta and I have the two 7/1 shots from R2 as well, now all I need is for someone to post another for R3 at fair odds and I will have my exacta patent sorted too :)

Runner today: Goldandsilver is the form horse in the first race, and she is in fine shape for today. Despite the apparent support for Bountiful Harvest and Reign I have had a nice punt at 5/2. The only other one to consider is Trilateral which put up a decent debut and will come on from that. Quartet and Trifecta these 4 and perhaps add Dixie Rebel for the minor places.

Although the fields are smallish as we come to the end of the Durbanville "season", some nice horses on show and competitive racing.
Race 2. I agree that the betting offers good value on the others as Balance Sheet surprisingly short priced. I will look to beat him in the Bipot. Triptothestars goes well at this course, but there was nothing to beat other than Bruno last time, and I think he has to improve to defeat the Ramsden pair. Captain's Orders is my pick, but Cotton Hill gets good going after failing to fire in the soft. Brave Leader is consistent of late and would not be a shock winner, but I prefer the younger horses in this.
Race 3:this is a very weak field, with Millbrook, Triple Bluff andQSchool some form. Not much betting support for any of the first timers, although they wouldn't have to be too clever to win this. I'd rather have lunch than get involved here.
Race 4: Vincente looks useful, and is a worthy favourite despite having to give weight all round. If he is not up to it then the race is wide open. My roughy e/w is Clean Cut. With the 4kg claimer, he can surprise if he jumps well.
Race 5: Small but quality field. I like Counts Rocket to beat Catkin. Peace Pact is improving, and Dogmatism has to be respected at the weights and has run well this course.
Race 6: A tricky contest where a case could be made for many. Saint Sophia is unfancied in the betting, and may prefer a bit further. At best, however, she is well weighted here and worth an ew at current 10/1
Race 7: Miss Link good debut, and if making the expected improvement should win again. If not, wide open.
Race 8: Roventas deserves a win for his consistency, and perhaps Andrew Fortune can pull out the extra. There are a host of improving 3yos, and the winner more likely to come from them. Do be Snappy has the best exposed form, and he is good value at current 8/1, but no surprise if any of the others pops up.

I am playing around these today:
Goldandsilver
Brave Leader (nap)
Millbrook ( I would label this one BUT for the draw)
Vincente
Ma Choix
De Sol A Sol
Do Be Snappy

Bipot and PA the only bets for me today

Race 1: Goldandsilver - a hard nut to crack with a plum of a draw.
Race 2: Brave Leader my first choice, keep an eye on Triptothestars.
Race 3: race 3 - Got an openish look to it. Ravishing Lad got a nice first start and with a 2 draw and Bernard in the saddle. Definetely the horse to beat. I like triple bluff as well but drawn very badly. Q school - do not overlook.
Race 4: Vincente a hard nut to crack. Simply Black and Lizards Passion for minor money
Race 5: CAtkin - can't wait to see this one romp home!!!! Hope fitness not a problem. King of Indians must be watched- as an upset
Race 6: Open race. Load as much as possible. I like Ma Choix and petty Officer to win this. Rushintothewind the upset horse.
Race 7: Caseys Jet with frontrunning tactics my pick. Miss Link could be the fly in the oitment.Lady Graca in with a neat shout as well.
Race 8: Roventus, Roventus - I want to shout it out. Today his winning oppertunety.Waiting for Rain and Storm Faerie to Quarell for the minor money.
