I am trying to figure out in my mind if the programmer is not to bright. How clever is it to have a meeting on the standside track a few days before South Africas richest ever race? I mean could they not have raced one more week on the inside track and started night meetings after Saturdays event? To me its a stupid move

Thank you.

If I could afford a R 1,000 or R 2,000 bet, I would also play the more favoured horses.

With my R 100 or R 200, I have to do much more homework for my final selection.

Cheers !

Master Sabina - HUGE RUNNER at the weights, but watch out for Mr Soma in that race, the horse is fit, improving and 3rd run after a rest! Alboran Sea - RACE OVER!!

Julian, where have you been buddy? Someone was asking about you a day or two ago, so the saying is true, "Speak of the .........". Good to see you posting again, next time you need to submit a leave form.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Ha ha ha...had to take a break from ALL this Polytrack racing - drives me nuts and just can't find a winner on those tracks! So glad racing has returned to Turfontein standside and Kenilworth, and that the big boys are coming out to play now. Now let's find a winner!!! :cheer:

On 13/07/2014 Strydom rode it to win over the course and distance.

On 09/08/2014 Strydom rode it to win over the course and distance.

On 16/10/2014 with Sampson riding, over the course and distance, it made up nearly 3 lengths over the last 400 m. It lost by 0.75 lengths to Alascan Maiden.

A very good run !

Sampson retains the ride. He comes down from 58 Kgs to 52 Kgs.

Barend has only 3 horses. Sampson rides 2 (His only 2 rides for the day), and Strydom rides Tzigane in Race 4.

I don't think Tzigane can beat Alboran Sea in Race 4.

The best of Sampson's rides is She's a Looker. Go for It !!

Classic Illusion at Draw 3 has the best draw, but no form.

Mohave Princess on 04/10/2014 drifted from 16/1 to 33/1. In its previous race, it drifted from 12/1 to 20/1. Not my idea of a betting proposition.

The only danger might be Mr. Zackey for Joe Soma with an even bigger surprise on Rodeo Sioux.

No scientific formulas were used in the calculation of this forecast.

Just straight logic, gut feel and the "School Fees", I have paid over the years !

Sampson has ridden quite a few "Good" winners for Barend Botes.

Good luck Leseding!

I fancy Sisters of Mercy strongly! she ran a descent race against the boys last time out and she's back against her own sex tonight, I think it's also her 3rd run after rest so I'll be lumping on at 10/1. She was 80% fit last time out and would have come on leaps from her last outing... only concern is the wide draw but it might work in her favor as she likes to come from way off the pace, last time out she raced handy and it didn't quite work out.

I'll be taking multiples with No Worries to win the Charity Mile ;)

the richest race is a restricted race for one sale and doesn't have even listed status however there are far important races on the card which carry group status so your point is taken

Like many I believe that Master Sabina is a good bet..

Also believe that Ultimate Tiger is a very good bet in the last at 8/1 and will be taking some of that...
