On 13/07/2014 Strydom rode it to win over the course and distance.
On 09/08/2014 Strydom rode it to win over the course and distance.
On 16/10/2014 with Sampson riding, over the course and distance, it made up nearly 3 lengths over the last 400 m. It lost by 0.75 lengths to Alascan Maiden.
A very good run !
Sampson retains the ride. He comes down from 58 Kgs to 52 Kgs.
The best of Sampson's rides is She's a Looker. Go for It !!
Sampson has ridden quite a few "Good" winners for Barend Botes.
I hope She's A Looker arrives for you.
Sorry Bayern what do you think of Everest's 1800m time of 100.92
race distance is 1600m

Jeppe's Reef in the fifth. Nearly 3/1 on a place is good value.

Some very decent racing but some very tough punting propositions!
R1 Angelus Bell x Bad Boy Buddy Boy
R2 Rosalie x Uletide
R3 Everest x Rushmore River
R4 Alboran Sea x Winter Passion
R5 Shimmering Gem x Guy From Dubai
R6 Enchanted Silk x Classic Illusion x Square Dance (Think She's A looker has a chance but she has a fair but to do with Sisters Of Mercy on their meeting back in May. WP could well be on the right one but tis a very open race imo)
R7 Deliver the Power x National Key
R8 Arabian Bay x Parade Prancer x Pyramus
Be(s)t of luck to all

Just checked, Everest is not getting the WFA allowance of 1.0kg, so that should make the 4 year olds in the race even worse off at the weights than they actually are. Everest should not finish ahead of Master Sabina.

Great to be back on the Stand Side track at Turffontein for a wonderful evening of racing, last season it was a major injection to the cash flow standings and I hope to repeat the same.. Here are my selections for tonight.
Race 1 : The Elusive Fort colt EISENBOLT can run, so don't be surprised to see him win by three. Tarry stable coming back to some form and I strongly believe he'll win but in a race with many 1st timers I would play cautious. Not a betting race IMO but I will be taking some eachway returns on EISENBOLT.
Race 2 : ROSALIE - phenomenal looking filly, after viewing her a few times the stable always mentioned hopefilly
she'll be a champion one day. She looks the part and her 1st effort was descent, with a run under her belt I honestly believe she'll take a TON of beating and will romp home in comfortable fashion, I thought she'd be priced up at 12/10 next run but 7/2 is great value!
Race 3 : Like many clanners I'm in the MASTER SABINA camp.
Race 4 : ALBORAN SEA not for me tonight, the Prinsloo runner is interesting and although restricted to Flamingo she has managed to win her races convincingly. Now I'm not stating that EYES FOR YOU will beat ALBORAN SEA but a few swingers and exactas won't hurt at 33/1. TIGER QUEST and TZIGANE to fight out the finish with EYES FOR YOU to fill the places.
Race 5 : J'S OUTSIDER up in class tonight, good draw. Trainer/Jockey combination has yielded great returns for me so my outright selection will be JO.
Race 6 : SISTERS OF MERCY, a few will know I've tipped this runner a few times, she's had her issues and her run against the boys last time out was full of merit, against her own sex tonight, I strongly believe she'll be very very very hard to oppose, this amazing filly will shown them just what she's made of!
Race 7 : Jimmy Sarkis and company - I'm on... DELIVER THE POWER - Sh1t IN!
Race 8 : ULTIMATE TIGER to complete a ZAKI double, let's hope Khumalo can regain some of his early form but a place prospect seems more likely.
Good luck to all with runners tonight! Time for my investments to mature!

This may sound absurd, but i make Winter Passion better off at the weights (by 1.5kgs) with Alboran Sea, especially with Delpech putting up 1.0kg extra.

Not absurd at all Bayern, I had a good look at Winter Passion, cannot be ignored!
