Where did this guy come from? He really is good. Another cracker just now against Stoke in the League Cup. Go for it Graziano, you're also included in my compo!!

Came from the Dutch league where he was scoring goals for fun under Koeman. Top scorer two seasons in a row if I remember correctly which is special considering he wasn't on free kicks and only scored 2 pens. Not ever going to be the best in the world but he'll knock them in for fun on the regular. Huge upgrade from Rickie Lambert just like tadic is an upgrade from Lallana. Great Southampton business!

This team is a punters dreams, started at evens tonight with Pelle AGS 11/8. Money for nothing. B)

Strange that non of the so called top clubs knew about him or Tadic. They are both terrific players but I am waiting to pass judgement on Southampton until they have played all the clubs in the top half. Still to play City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, WHU Chelsea

Agree CnC, Tadic's stats were amazing and they really got an absolute bargain with him! Runs the show on all set pieces. The English media had a right go at Southampton for selling their English 'talent' but it's good to see who's getting the last laugh. Even if they can't compete against a couple of the big boys, they consistently trashing the lower teams in the league which the likes of Arsenal, city and united aren't doing. If the just keep beating teams in the bottom half they'll be up there in the top 6 mix.

for sure they will and in fact I hope that they finish in the top 4 as it will make a change to see a different club there. Remember all the English players are over rated and over priced. Southampton will unfortunately lose the likes of those two , (Bale, Walcott, Oxlaide Chamberlain the 3 at Liverpool all gone plus Arsenal now after Schneiderlin)

Apologies but rather than starting another football thread... a word too for Alan Pardew, whether it lasts is still very questionable imo, but big respects to him, come through an absolute barrage of abuse and clamour from all sides to have him sacked, much of it seemingly pretty personal, and shown real character to get Newcastle getting results again. Fair play.

Agreed...I have taken Newcastle in the last 4 matches (on the basis that they are a half-decent team with a decent manager that should come right at some point) and been rewarded with 3 wins at decent prices... :cheer: Not top 6 material but neither are they a bottom 4 team...
