@cnc...I have tried to go on the Racingpost website to improve my knowledge of UK racing but just don't understand it well enough to make a meaningful contribution or a confident bet...so I stay away...
I stick to the odd SA racing bet...my one for the day is done...and the rugby, cricket, tennis, basketball, etc where I have a better understanding and that has been profitable for me...
Enjoy...

I've had a small win / place on Docs legacy at Redcar, was in decent form last month , has run well at Redcar before and the Jock Trainer combo top class up North
5/1 fair enough

R3 Redcar Kimbali E/W. A very weak seller. The selection is the highest rated horse in the race and is taking a big drop in class. Has plenty of form this season which would make him very hard to beat here. Distance and ground no problem. Ought to be in the first three at the very least and 5/1 or thereabouts is too big (should be no more than 7/2 for me).

Normally only put up one tip per day, but as Kimbali was a late withdrawal, I'll post my other selection for today. R4 Exeter Carraig Mor. Won a point-to-point in Ireland and showed a decent level of form over hurdles last season. Looks certain to improve, however, when tackling fences and three miles. Goes very well first up after a break and can win this at the main expense of the likely favourite Carole's Destrier (who looked a weak finisher over this distance last time).
