Ireland v Springboks
10 years 7 months ago
I see that HM has already announced his team for Saturday evenings match. Its Wednesday so that gives the Irish more than enough time to study videos of our matches over the past season. It looks as if it could be a close match as the Irish usually kick off the international season in high spirits but SA should do enough to win
Scotland v Argentina should be close but the Argentinian pack looks awesome (I went to practice today)
Wales v Australia, the Welsh are going backward and this should be an easy win for the Aussies
England v All Blacks. The English media are talking up Englands chances but the ABS are street wise and should do enough to win

Interested in the Wales Aus game. 1/2 on the Aussies to progress to the WC quarters. A win of more than 15 points I'll be shipping on this bet.
Hoping the All Blacks shut the English media up.

England and Ireland both crying long injury lists which indicates that Boks/Ab's will take care of them.
Argentine pack of forwards should take care of Scotland.
Wales/Oz could be close,maybe Wallabies.

I don't understand why its such a big deal to declare your squad early as usually about 13 of the players pick themselves so they don't have to be rocket scientists to figure your squad out
The lay of the weekend is this hopeless aussie side, overrated just like a certain Mr Moore on this forum
Wales on handicap and outright for me, aussies should rather stick to there beloved sheep
SA and NZ will both win as usual, the only 2 teams in the world who can play rugby, the rest are just whipping boys :woohoo:

Yet again a Sharks player has cost the Springboks as three times in the first half when the team were within 10 metres of the Irish line Bismark Du Plessis comes flying in from the side and the ref penalised him everytime. England are going to make mince meat out of this bunch of chops next week.

Over confidence in the 1st half was the Boks downfall. Guts and a great team effort by Ireland lead to a deserved victory. Shoulder to shoulder they answered Irelands call. wELL DONE!

This was really not about the Boks playing badly as the stats proves quite clearly.
Ireland was inspired on defence and gave us no quarter. We never broke their line convincingly and when we looked like getting through the cover defence did the rest.
They were brilliant and took their opportunities better. A wake up call for the Boks to take the points on offer as in test rugby you cannot afford to put pressure on yourself by having to play catch up on the scoreboard.
Well done Ireland on showing real commitment and physical presence. The gap between Northern and Southern hemisphere is almost non-existent if yesterday's three games are taken as a pointer.
Should make for a great World Cup.

Good wake up call for SA one year from WC
Ireland's key players Kearney,OÇonnell,Sexton etc were outstanding.
Boks had no plan B and Le Roux's antics are getting well known;\.
Hougaard useless.
Too many Geriatics in the squad
and finally please get rid of Skinstad as commentator. He is not only biased but cannot string two words together sensibly.
