Get To Know The Jockeys - Part 1

The ever-popular International Jockeys’ Challenge is just over a week away and the format has reverted to two racemeetings, at Turffontein Racecourse on Saturday 15 November and then the following day at Kenilworth in Cape Town. An almost brand new International team has been assembled for this year’s renewal and with a mixture of experience and youth; the tourists could leave their mark on ‘our’ local team. The six-strong Rest Of The World team will be captained by 26-year old British born jockey, JAMES DOYLE whilst last season’s South African champion jockey S’MANGA KHUMALO will skipper the locals.
