Mad Moose ban lifted
10 years 7 months ago
This horse is a complete nutcase, was banned for life at the Begining of the year for refusing to race but his trainer was successful at a parole hearing today .
The well named ( Mad Moose ) horse refused to race an incredible 7 times in 14 months.
The problem is this horse is very talented and when he does race he can run, which causes problems for punters
Should he be allowed to race ?
I say nay

THE enigmatic Mad Moose, who was last month cleared to return to the racecourse, looks set to make his eagerly anticipated comeback in Saturday's 888sport Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown.
The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained ten-year-old was indefinitely banned from racing in January, but the order was lifted by the BHA last month and racing fans could now see the popular dual-purpose performer grace the turf on Saturday.
Mad Moose was on Monday among 18 entries for the 2m showpiece, including Balder Succes, God's Own, Dodging Bullets, Hinterland and Wishfull Thinking, along with leading Irish raiders Ballycasey and Alderwood.
A message on Mad Moose's Twitter page (@MadMooseNTD) read: "Looks like I'll be making my comeback on Saturday @Sandownpark in the Tingle Creek. Look forward to seeing you all there. #moosiesback."
Mad Moose was banned at an inquiry triggered by his reluctance to start in last year's Tingle Creek. That was his seventh misdemeanour in a 14-month period, and the panel that paved for the way for Mad Moose's return said if he refuses or is again reluctant to start in the next six months the matter should be referred back to the BHA.
Ten entries were received for the Racing Post Henry VIII Novices' Chase at Sandown on Saturday, a race that could feature Vibrato Valtat, Irish Saint, Dunraven Storm and Sgt Reckless. God's Own also holds an entry in the 2m contest.

Any horse that can use twitter should run as I am still battling.
I might just have a wee bet and hope it jumps.

I suppose that you can relate Mad Moose to the many people who have registered on ABC who read the posts but fail to post.
