It doesn't take a seasoned punter to identify the difference in the 2 jocks...................if there wasn't a perceived significant difference, the whole thing would have been a non event and not caused a furore.
I think all the fuss is a bit over the top anyway, as, using poker as a comparison,there is a difference between bluffing and cheating, and this was,at worst, just bluffing!

Did anyone else think strider gave it a kak ride ? Lol

1)She's a Tiger was weighted to carry 52kg when the weights came out, as we had nominated for a MR92 f&m race.
2)Late in scratchings, the top weights came out and weights moved up. I wasn't watching scratchings , having done my decs earlier.
3)Bennie Dean got the ride at 52kg, as he had ridden her previously under 52 kg, to a short head second.
4)The ride on American Pie on Saturday, was "special", to say the least.
5)Please note, same Owner, both fillies.
6)I came down to CT on Sunday night and joined the jocks teams at Shimmys after races. Saw Piere and asked him to take the ride.
7)For the record, Piere and I have remained close, for many years , throughout this incredible journey of his. The 5000 milestone is huge and I would be most honoured, should number 5000 be on one of mine.
8)I visited 3 stud farms on Monday and battled for signal most of the day, eventually giving up. At my earliest convenience, on Monday night, I made the jockey change. I was well within my rights to wait until the next morning to make the change, which I never did.

Please be assured, I definitely never punted She's a Tiger, no scheme intended etc.
