Victor Dubuisson, he is a golfer that is coming into his own. Is making his 2nd appearance so will know more of what the course is about and will be right there come Sunday IMO.

I miss the good old days with a 12 man elite field. I suppose Tiger's tournament put paid to that.

That is my luck at the moment. My fancy gets injured before the event starts, suppose it is better than during the tournament.

Just gone through the World Rankings and with Dubuisson's withdrawal there is only 1 golfer in the field in the Top 20 in the rankings, being Kaymer at 13.

I am not sure that anyone has won on first attempt around the course.
I know Tiger went close,only being beaten after a play off.
Jamie Donaldson has played in recent years and I have an interest bet at 14/1.

In a tribute to Nelson Mandela's 1st death anniversary Gary Player went on a mission. He said on SS1 words to the effect that it is only one year and look where we are - crime, corruption, etc. In another discussion on the topic of the environment he again went on his horse about the fracking in the Karoo. He appealed to the public to support AGAINST fracking as we can live without oil but not water.

On another note particularly for fellow clansman Farawaysaint, Jamie Donaldson may have withdrawn due to a migraine.
