I would agree with you on form beyond 1600m, but that Gauteng Guineas win was top class and one or two jockeys in the race were pretty wide eyed when recounting the turn of foot he showed.

In the Charity Mile he carried a big weight from a wide draw and came from an impossible position.

I suppose the one big concern though is first time around the left hand turn although luckily its a small field so shouldn't be as rough as it usually is.

For once pirates and myself are not on the same page; during the KZN season there was not a lot between the pair (L and LtK) - LtK has improved (and of course so has Legislate) - I think LtK's will use the QP as a 'prep' into the Met - which is going to be a hell of race between the two - imo

The best you can get on Legislate now is 8/13. I think he is worth 3/10!
