Runner today: race 6: Thaler Point
It's been a lean month for my runners, but perhaps she can change the luck today.
Ran a fair race last time from a wide draw, and has reportedly been working well. I'm not sure that she truly gets 2000m at this stage, but the 3 point drop in her MR since her last run is significant over this trip. Bernard will get the best out of her. Very competitive handicap- my shortlist is Thaler Point; Beaulah; The Queen Vic;Lebombo Breeze but others with chances.

Other races
Race 3:
Jam Tart; Dungeon Dragon and Evoke Emotion to fight it out

Clever ride by Fouie, slowed it up and quicked the best.

Bushfighter of the outsiders looks to have scope for improvement but maybe not today.

Of the favourites, I prefer No Resistance.

Race 4:
Arezzo and No Resistance look the 2. Not sure why Van Niekerk is riding Storm Faerie- she and Putchini are the dangers
Race 5:
Very open race. Possible two are Aliysa's Prize and Come Fly with me.
Race 7: Ramsden has a strong hand and his two should fight this out.
Race 8:Be at Peace looks best here. Quite a few others with chances- Ovidio, Roman Silvanus, Forte de Ouro and Forlan

@ PeterD - Thaler Point, on the run to The Queen Vic, at the weight turn-arounds, she must be the one they all have to beat, should go very close
