Congratulations to Eric Sands.I know that 2 year olds can make tremendous improvement from one run to another but Langeberg's was sensational.I remember once Bert Hayden had a horse that showed sensational improvement from one run to the next and he was fined a hefty sum.Any other horses that come to mind with such improvement in consecutive runs...with the money on???

Heaps of two year olds in the UK come good after a bad first outing. No questions are asked even if the horse starts at 33s or odds on. Obviously if the horse has had 3 or 4 bad runs and then pops up eyebrows are raised.

Agreed Mori.

Duke, I don't think langeberg's 1st run was so bad - he looked one of the two 'likily' horse's in the race. So his second race improvement wasn't too much of a surprise to me - but oh, for it happen to me - lol! And I did write yesterday, 'Delpech in the 1st 3 races'.

Should have followed you "Jamster",in hindsight.I was strong on Al Baaqir but Langerberg made em all look ordinary.Even "owies" info about Langeberg could not sway me.
