Bob, sorry, I should have said similar to being "drawn higher elsewhere with a bend". I am not talking generally about over 1000 and some 1200. Still a little confused by your comment though, if you mean had they followed the pace down the inside then I entirely agree, bit like slotting in at the back round a bend, very little chance if any. I would still though prefer to be drawn low on the Vaal outer course over 1200 woth a chance of getting over to the middle than high on the poly or Greyville or Turf inner tracks and the sand. Anyway...

Maybe strydom will jump and get a position? move to the outside and out think them?

Just the one for me today, R7 Start Your Engines. Improved last run, took some of the 25s available earlier.

I also think Start Your Engines has a chance - but my preference is for Allenby Park - nice swinger ?
