Sail For Gold has the slightly better form but Imibala still fairly lightly raced and looks like he can improve. At the prices I've gone for Imibala.

PeeKay wrote: PeterD, it will be nice to know if there is an excuse for DanceInThe Woods' disappointing run. I have followed this horse for a long time now.

Am i totally off the mark by suggesting he prefers Durbanville?

I wasn't at the course - still on holiday. No obvious reason. MJ reported that she was traveling fine, but was a bit flat in the middle part of the race, and did not quicken when asked. She stayed on ok at the end which is the only consolation from a poor run. I don't think that the course is the problem- her run on 1st Nov Ken 1400m was at least as good as her Durbanville run. It may be that the 1200m is now too short for her. She isn't a star, but is overdue a maiden win and this wasn't the strongest of fields, so really expected a much better effort.

Nevermind he hasn't gone beyond 1400m, he has this field stone cold at the weights and his style of running would suggest he should get the 1800m comforatbly. Would imagine this run would decide whether he takes his place in the Derby or not.
gotta agree got a treble from yesterday hoping to close on this one.

Well done Dean.
