R4 - Sail For Gold (5/2 in to 14/10) looks to have everything going for him and looks the one they all have to beat. Whilst he has had a few attempts at winning his maiden, he is bumping an average bunch. The collateral form behind his last three runs is not the worst. Maybe Canadian Dollar and Imibala being the real dangers. Canadian Dollar is returning from a 5 month break, and the betting ( 7/2 out to 5/1) would suggest he may need the run. Imibala (5/2 out to 7/2) has been costly to follow to date. It is (in my opinion) very difficult to back this horse with any degree of certainty, he may win tomorrow, but I'm prepared to bet against him getting it right. No doubt he will improve, maybe looking for a lot further.

R5 - So Suspect, a repeat of her last effort from a wide draw will see her go very close here. From a decent draw, and with Cormack retaining the ride for the third time, think he will have a better game plan this time round.

The best bet on the card must be (R6) Liquid Mercury. Nevermind he hasn't gone beyond 1400m, he has this field stone cold at the weights and his style of running would suggest he should get the 1800m comfortably. Would imagine this run would decide whether he takes his place in the Derby or not.
