Pity Samogan is scratched. Would of been a solid bet off its rating after last win on Vaal track.

Exciting runner on the day is De Kock's More Than Ready colt Hearts R Pumping - I'm sure there are big plans for this guy. As Pirates pointed out, he is half a year behind the rest. How I see it is that they could keep him off the track until the Jozi season if they wanted to? Anyone know how long he has been with De Kock in SA for? Don't think they would send out a horse like this if they think he could not be ready yet.

Race 9: Mod Barley(11/2) won last start impressively over c/d in a fast time, even though given 8 points will not be enough to stop this one going in again imo
