I was talking to a pal yesterday and he was very chirpy about the fact that he had a good bet on Martin Kaymer to win in Abu Dhabi,I did say to lay a bit back.
He was Ten ahead with 14 holes to play and 1-500 in betting, US Open champion didn't even finish 2nd. Funny old game, golf.
I think Greg Norman was 7 ahead with a round to play in The Masters when he choked and let misery guts Faldo win,but 10 shots is a 2-3 hole start.
Can anyone think of a bigger lead slipping.

Jean van de Velde 3 clear coming to the last in at the 1999 Open at Carnoustie might not have been the biggest leading margin but it was the biggest choke I have ever seen and very sad to watch unfold.
