Amazing ... incredible ... unbelievable. The Twittersphere is asking for AB to be genetically tested in case he isn't human.

This innings, though great, merely wins us a match against a demoralised WI team that doesn't have any bowlers of note...

I'd take a 50 or 60 from ABdV in the quarters, semis or final of the World Cup (all knockout matches) in just over a month from now...

All this innings does is increase the expectation and pressure and SA cricket just doesn't perform when the pressure is on...
I live in hope but I have been through the trauma of
- 92 (22 runs of 1 ball to please the broadcasters...we fielded first knowing that the rules were against teams batting second),
- 96 (we left out Donald and Fanie and then Lara clubs our "spinners"),
- 99 (less said the better but it should be noted that we dropped Steve Waugh, take a run with 3 balls to go, and Hansie made 0 in the two matches against Aus when involvement in match-fixing was at peak),
- 03 (cannot read DL winning score),
etc, etc...

Tell me when we get to the final and I may just have the heart to watch it...
