Now that was unbelievable and it just goes to show that the notion that a person can predict the result(The Stipes use that rule) of a race with 600m to go, or less as is the case in most objections, is questionable.

Funny,that was my thoughts exactly ...............we have these rules which rely on our stipes being able to predict what would have happened .....BUT FOR!!!!!
This was an extreme case ,but there are many other examples on our local programmes.......at least the old rule was based on the visual facts!

Yes this is an EXTREME case but how do you predict the outcome of short head decision which is more common?
