If this topic was about the open bet then certain members will be jumping how the open bet is destroying racing.

Doesn't this move also destroy racing ???

So why are the 'pro racing' members not posting now ???

It looks like they have decided to continue.................can only guess at reasons but the ratio of downloads may be a reason (would love to see the download figures of Old vs New)

Could also be that anybody who subscribed to the old format would be entitled to a refund ,regardless of what their rules say.

The amazing thing about "P" is that they love deciding what their customers will want, and yet they get it wrong so often ........will they ever learn? I don't think so !
It is the height of arrogance!
The Computaform was one of the best laid out form guides in the world(I had friends from the UK and Aus rave about it) so to have the "P" brainstrust decide to trash it (as opposed to enhance it ) is beyond belief!
(and then we have to watch and listen to their smugness when they are guests on Tellytrack)

For me, the scrapping of Computaform ,is probably one of the most negative things to my racing in the last 20 years, and by a bunch of clowns!

CF has always been my favorite however i am one of those consumers that do not support bad service. I asked G Hawkins 18 months ago why the false rail setting for Greyville is not included in the CF... he agreed that it should be as it is the official race card & guess what. No response, no follow-up = no support from me.

I have not been to one Poly meeting at Greyville & will not go to that mickey mouse racing until my trainer forces me and still i probably will not go.

I currently have a filly that has raced once, finished third over 1400m and the next fillies maiden race over 1600m on turf is 15 April.... she ran on the 27th of January.

Why the inside track at Scottsville is not being used or why the turf treatments were not spaced out between Scottsville & Greyville so that racing on turf could continue i cannot answer. What i do know is that the turf racing is over subscribed and the Poly racing is under subscribed.

In essence KZN racing has become Poly racing in the off season and turf racing in the main season.... I have already discussed with my trainer that my horses will move province after the main season to race on turf and return when there is turf racing in KZN.

In a nutshell.... You can keep the CF and poly racing in KZN and i will visit Greyville when there is turf racing no matter how many prawns you offer me.

So we have sold Clairwood and done very little to uplift racing in this province, well done.... I say we because GC must not believe that it is their money.

Dissapointed, that is all I can say!

I have a copy of every electronic Computaform and every fotoform since it has come on line.

Computaform has been part of my life for over 40 years now and it gets to me that now it is there no more.

The Computaform, the old Computaform is a winner just like the original Coke. You cannot improve on Coke. They tried but failed and had to bring back the original Coke. I hope that the same happens to Computaform.

Maybe the Sporting Post, Winning Form and others can see a gap in this revision to the Computaform and use it to their advantage.

Still cannot understand why no Race Card today shows when a horse was scratched like the Computaform used to show many years ago.

You only have to look at the team that "improved" the Computaform...............the only way they could get the IQ above 120 was to have a meeting!

(Every aspect they couldn't use because they couldn't understand, they regarded as unnecessary)

I'm willing to pay 5 times my current subscription to have the old computaform back. How about they offer it as "Computarform supreme" subscription ?
I am trying to read this shit and am getting so angry.
There is no way that they don't see or hear the negative feedback.
