I only stayed with Computaform through force of habit.
Now that change is inevitable,I will change to Sporting Pro.
I bet you they won't have the balls to disclose which format is downloaded most, indicating preference and demand!!!!!!!!
I know where my money would be if I was to bet on it!
This mob bought Computaform and then, instead of enhancing it ,they trash the whole layout and keep the name only .............hard to understand the rationale!

......what I cant understand..... is that more people are not bitching....are we just the go with the flow types.....or those that are like someone having a bad meal experience and when asked if all is O K timidly say yes.....but never visit that establishment again.....those that have been blessed with having the future of racing in their hands have no clue when it comes to making unnecessary or bad choices that affect those at the coal face.....the punting joe public is evaporating on a daily basis and if they fail at customer retention.... then bigger failures are on the way in trying to get new replacements.....

I am also surprised that people are letting this one go. It's probably cause there is a change every 2 minutes in this industry, and we're tired of complaining. But I'm really not a fan of the new CF. The only thing I like is that they show the owner's colours next to the horse's form. That is it!!! It is going to be every hard to get used to it. I'm just pissed cause they said they were taking our suggestions. I have not seen any changes, except the summary of the day's racing in the front of the book. They should include the race variant like they used to, that was one of my main ways of finding winners. Now it's gone. The colours and the size of the font is also an eyesore. How do they not see it? And every presenter/commentator probably also hates the new book, but they get paid to promote how 'great' it is. I just want them to at least keep the old format online. I paid a for a year's worth of the old CF, not this crap.

I agree that the course variant is vital ,except everything has become so slapdash ,I wonder how much accuracy it retained?
The most amazing thing is that the strategy was changed to encourage download, and avoid the distribution problems they were having!..........so why so much emphasis on the new paper and colour ????? I wonder what % are downloaded in colour?
I challenge them to show that the new format was a more popular download than the old!

I am sorry but on this one I also MUCH rather prefer the old format and they will not see my money for renewal if the old format dissapears...imo the new firmat is not a very user friendly version and if the ild version worked so well why not keep thd options like they did the last few months is mindboggling...sure the revenues will drop

They should also remove the slogan "The choice of champions" from the cover of the new format. The Computaform in its orginal format was clearly the choice of many "champion" punters however I do not believe that they will now openly endorse the new format.
If I had the time and the tom I'd take them on at the advertizement standards authority as they are misrepresenting the format that was once "The choice of champions".......

I make no excuses that I do not enjoy change at my age but one thing for sure is the new format is not as comprehensive as the old. I have stopped buying Computaform after studying if for 40 years, my study now involves Formgrids exclusively.

.....that is because we had a choice in downloading the old format the true "Choice of Champions" or the new colour bling one sans the pertinent info that many a form studier use to find winners....now we find out this "old" format option will be discontinued leaving a no choice of champions format....

Agree with everything said on this - I renewed my subscription towards the end of last year - so here's a question, do I not have a legal case in that the item I subscribed to, has now been changed into something I don't want? Surely one should get the option of continuing with the product subscribed to, until the subscription expires?
And I did not even get a mail to inform me of this - is my subscription not the worth the same as ruffian's?
But of course we are all just a bunch of moaners on this site - so I will let my fingers to the complaining - good stuff P - you have lost another customer.
