Irish bookies are streets ahead in that respect, Jim.

Sportingbet.co.za offer lucky 15s amongst their multiples, but I don't know whether they offer the consolations and bonuses as well.

On the subject of Sportingbet, they now appear to be following what I regard as a growing and unwelcome trend amongst UK bookmakers when it comes to 'welcome' offers, namely that they will only offer new account holders a free bet if their first bet is a loser. I think bookmakers should either offer ALL new account holders a welcome bonus irrespective of what happens to their first bet or offer no welcome bonus at all. We've all heard of promotions with strings attached, but these are more like steel hawsers.

No worries, Bob. My guess is that they will offer the bonuses and consolations, but we'll wait and see.

I have always regarded the Yankee as a "mugs bet" (if one horse fails you lose 63+% of the bet although only 25% wrong............or 91% of your bet when 50% wrong)

Bookmakers must see it the same way to be offering those kind of odds on the singles, as I have yet to see a bookmaker with a WO number................lol

For a small mug player the L15 eway is my favourite bet... :)

the people that knock the lucky 15 bet are the mugs that never catch it.

Thanks, Bob. Strange that Sportingbet.com should offer them yet Sportingbet.co.za don't (at least not yet). They could be missing a chance to corner the market here, given that no other SA operators seem to offer Lucky 15s.

Do they offer the consolations and bonuses, Greg - i.e. double the odds for just one winner and a 10% bonus for all four winners? Sportingbet.com offer these, but it looks as if their co.za arm doesn't as yet.
