The price is too generous on Kochka not to have a go. He ia far too classy for this field and i will take my chances

He may not be the best Black Minnaloushe in the country (Louis the King) but he is undoubtedly the best looking BM in the country. What a beautiful horse he is!

thanks bud, bit of a disappointing effort from Surefire though

got 1% of the P6 (over 5k) for R12... not bad :)

Was prepared to take 16/10 (10/6) have managed to get 50% more (15/6) a HUGE bet for me, but should he go bigger I cant/wont have another bet..
why aren't u having this bet on the tote?

Brilliant question.

All I hear is the bookmakers don't contribute so why are you supporting them ?

Open bet with tote and fixed with bookies doesn't make sense when you say that the bookmakers don't contribute to racing.

Strange.... I guess if the pro racing supports the bookies we all should :)

The money for Gumbi yesterday was, contrary to what i thought, well founded and Dean , Craig and all those who backed him can consider themselves unlucky as imo it was only greeness that cost him the race, i did my tom on the 2nd horse but even though I was beaten by a "spook" there is little doubt that the best horse in the race ran 3rd...

To answer the Pirates and D-17 query, I have never ever said that I am anti bookmakers, in fact I have always claimed (and will continue to do so) that they should stick to laying the fixed odds win bet and stop encroaching on the Exotics which I firmly believe to be the property of the operators..in a nutshell I am opposed to the Open Bet and not bookmakers per se.
D-17 the fact that you consider the question posed by pirates as "brilliant" once again (and unsurprisingly) magnifies your inability to grasp the point, which is par for the course in your case...I will try draw some pictures for you, maybe that would help......but i doubt it.

Fair enuff Titch. Best horse or not yesterday we both did our tom. Sadly next time out the horse will be priced really skinny. I was grateful that I had a single bet on London call while the treble would have been a pay pay I guess that's racing.

I followed you on London Call but sadly as my weekly quota died in the 3rd I mustered up enuff courage to have R300 on... now have a bit to try box out of it today :) but will more than likely wait for tomorrow when Gav travels to PE, I only took 5 rides but im hoping for a good day...

Not sure about what horse was best in the race, but the winner won far too easy to worry about following Gumbi in future imo
