100%
the horse drifted from 19 to 10 to 6 to 1 so where was it a strongly fancied runner and secondly if a horse trebles in price where do you see millions of punters rands at stake?the punters very clearly never fancied this horse that's why he drifted from 19 to 10 to 6 to 1...the welfare of horse and jockey is of utmost importance so its the jockeys call if he feels something amiss ..on the question of integrity Bernard has an extremely clean record in fact I don't think he has ever served any time for not giving a horse every chance ...we need more Bernard faydeherbes riding today

When i looked at the early morning prices this horse was favourite( when most of us mugs take our bets)

You study form are you saying you gave this horse no chance and you would have brassed it?

This has nothing to do with what Jockey rode it!

Suppose it`s ok for this kind of thing to happen, most punters dont give a fuck when they lose anyway huh?

imo the jockey did the right thing. Imagine if the horse was ridden out and it injured itself or even died. We would all be on our soap boxes having a go at the jockey for not taking care of the horse. He rode the horse and he knows whats best for the horse. His view has to be the one that is believed. Stop talking out of your pockets and accept the jockeys explanation.

the horse wasn't fancied by punters hence the drift from 16 to 10 to 6 to 1....the bookies price is their opinion only and then market forces take over and if punters just want to follow their opinion then good luck to them...

Guys some horses can be sound when a vet checks them out but under race conditions show their problems. Nothing is cut and dried because a vet checks a horse and finds nothing amiss. BFH IMHO is the most natural jock in SA, if he feels the horse is not right, it most likely isnt. BMT like only a few jocks have, if only he was 4kg lighter.

Guys it has nothing to do with horse safety or what jock rode, i`m the first one to cringe when i see horses go wrong etc and fully understand and accept that when a jock feels that his mount is not right that they must ease off.

To ensure that we dont lose the few racing punters that are left the authorities must be seen to act and hold full investigations.. 99/100 they will find nothing wrong.

There would 100% have been an investigation into this race if it had been in the UK..

According to the betting(16-10 out to 6-1)the horse was only running on three legs. That drift is a massive one and the people who drifted the horse are the bookies.Did they know something we don't?For sure

As we know ,many things can go wrong with a horse in a race, however a pre-race drift of such magnitude suggests it was anticipated.............that has to be a concern!!!!! and worthy of at least an enquiry..................that would prevent speculation(at least some of which has to be unfounded) and put any reasons in the open!

Only fools except favourites blindly, thats why most of us are called mugs
Bookies price them up to pay out as little as possible
The more mugs on the false fav,the less they payout on real value
While typing this race 8 was run so i am not an ARM,but my value bet OUR JET just won
Pity theydon't always win,but the satisfaction you get when you sometimes beat them, the bookies,
is PRICELESS!!!
