"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' Friday 25th April Workings...

Evening.

This evening completed, and went as follows.........

The 1st runner we wanted 2.2, and with being around 2.66 on arrival, and although tumbling down to 2.22, it never came down to our lay price at any stage at all, so all had to avoid the race. The runner was disappointing, so very frustrating to come so close to lay price, but that's the fine lines we play and 'one that got away in hindsight'..........

The 2nd runner we wanted 1.46, and with being around 1.75 on arrival and not coming anywhere near our lay price at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner came in 2nd behind a winner who they all let get first run and go clear, so a suspect race, but that's life, the drift justified, and 'one that got away in hindsight'.......

The 3rd runner we wanted 1.66, but a non runner and 4.5% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.63. The price was around 1.8 on arrival and then dropped down to us under good late support, so we had a lay at the rock bottom of the market and 1.63. The lay had to work hard, but got the win which was ironic after the first couple of runners, so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it......

The 4th runner we wanted 1.5, and with being around 1.73 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, it was a race to avoid for all. The runner went and won, so a good leave..........

The 5th runner we wanted 2.2, and with being that on arrival, we had a lay at 2.2. The lay was beaten and so a good result..........

The 6th runner we wanted 2.2, and with being around 2.4 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 2.2 max. There was a very late withdrawal and 9.2% reduction, but it made no difference as the price shortened naturally and so we were back on with the full lay. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it..

The 7th runner we wanted 3.0, and with being 2.46 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at 2.46 max. The lay was beaten, and so a good result.........

The 8th runner we wanted 3.5, but the race was off by the time we got there, and to be honest wouldn't have been a lay anyhow with drifting quite big. The runner was beaten, so the drift justified, but good for early traders....

WELL PLAYED/BATTLED................(2 from the first 4 (50%) went and won - 3 from the first 6 (50%) went and won - So another testing session, but we all walk away level, or in profit, so well battled guys.)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Finished Level............They started their 1st strategy/target on the 3rd runner, and after a battle they broke level on their 4th and final lay of the evening (the 7th runner)...........

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 3rd runner) at 1.63, but a poor result see them go a bit behind early.........They then had their 2nd lay (the 5th runner) at 2.2, and a good result see them break level......They then had their 3rd lay (the 6th runner) at 2.2, but a poor result see them go behind again............Then came their 4th lay (the 7th runner) at 2.46 max, and a good result see them walk away levels....

Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades, so well played again lads on a very tough day at the office...

So another tough session comes to a close, and although I suppose we could've done a bit better with lady luck on our side, it could also have been a lot worse, so levels at worst is never a bad result, and we'll take that and look ahead to tomorrow. Have a good evening (what's left of it) and speak in the m morning...

Afternoon.

Our work for this evening then..........

5.45 Perth. DASTARDLY DICK (2.72)

Our price 6/4 (2.5) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.2 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

6.05 Newton Abbot. MARC OF BRILLIANCE (1.78)

Our price 4/6 (1.67) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.46 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

6.45 Bangor. CANALTURN (1.87)

Our price 10/11 (1.9) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.66 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced, he has shown he can race very prominently, so no surprise to see him do so again this evening*

7.05 Newton Abbot. OSLOT (1.69)

Our price 8/11 (1.727) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.5 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although he has a few ways of running, it wouldn't be any surprise to see a very prominent display this evening*

7.15 Bangor. QUIZZENE (2.62)

Our price 6/4 (2.5) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.2 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he likes to lead, or race very prominent in his races*

7.55 Chepstow. ROYAL RATIONALE (2.6)

Our price 6/4 (2.5) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.2 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

8.05 Newton Abbot. YOU'RE THE TOP (2.7)

Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.0 or under. *Please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

8.15 Bangor. CREINCH (3.45)

Our price 14/5 (3.8) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.5 or under.

All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 15:19pm.

Plenty to work with then, and although looking tricky and tough, we'll keep the discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon..
