Others compared to loopy

"Dear Graham Hodson
As a truly valued TOP 50 Whisperer customer, I am offering you a personal SPECIAL today, where you can renew or extend your membership 5 months and take advantage of A SAVING OF R4,600.00. The DOUBLE special will secure your tips for the next 5 months, all feature racing included, the Triple Crown, Classic Day, Champions Day, and the big one, The Vodacom Durban July.
February wasn’t an easy month for punters in general, but one thing I can guarantee is that it will all change, and sooner than later. Upsets and tricky results are unfortunately part of the game, and my job is to ensure the good runs are longer and better than the bad runs! The tough run in Feb came on the back of one of my best runs ever with top bets and exotic bets, so long term clients will know that upset results are only temporary. Even during the tricky racing lately, the Value Bets have kept winning and are running well. They are showing a 25 unit net profit on a level stake wagered this year to date, and they continue to run close when they are not winning. Top bets have started to come back to form nicely, and I like the card at the Vaal on Thursday, I think there is a BET OF THE YEAR and would be great to have as many of you on-board as possible."

Now I used to hate studying form and thought it was an easy way out to strike it rich. Needless to say it was quite the opposite and was quite draining on my pocket. I stopped paying and study form myself now, been doing so for two years. My punting costs me far less since I began to study for my self. I do however sign up for loopys service as I feel that for so many race meetings it does help me just a little bit when I cant study and it doesn't cost an arm and a Leg. You also don't get told "bet of the year coming up today pay R4600 now".
Ps: I quite like the new computaform much easier to read now

Thanks Hodson, hope you do well with him. He has a good reputation.
Is his bet of the year, Off The Mark, as I find tipsters often go for very short priced horses?

Shrek ,the problem isn't the tipping of short priced winners ,it's that when a horse has everything in its favour ,it is very rare for it to be a secret, and short prices are generally, therefore, inevitable (the odd one under the radar, reflecting a longer price is wonderful ......and very welcome.......lol)
A short price can still be value, though, depending on your assessment of its chances.!!!!
My problem with tipsters is the failure to provide their assessment of the value threshold.

The Whisperer is good value, but you need to stick to one 'type' of bet, whether it is his Best Bet,Value Bet, Bonus PA or Pick6, & take it every meeting(without fail). If u miss a meeting,Murphys Law will inevitably step in!!!!

For what it's worth I have used both Whisperer (Matthew) & Logic Fin Value (Loopy - Sean)
I followed them both for over a year and find both services very good, i live in England so they are a good source of information for me to start. I don't read form as I have no idea where to start well not strictly true, but that takes an age, I really don't know how the guys on here post so much but I do bet on most races (i am probably an addict oh dear first admission i'll be going to a group session next)
I stopped using Whisperer because it became apparent that they worked against each other at times and if they both had bad losing streaks then my balance soon dwindled no reflection on Sean's service but Logic gave me lots more information about the other horses.
Now I read the guys posts and compare them to Logic then make a decision based on that with some good success, I don't use everyone that posts but you get to know who regularly hit the mark. Watching the races has also helped and since I retired that makes a difference.
Main thing enjoy it and steady building of a bank, it does not happen overnight unless you are really lucky but then you will probably lose it all very quickly if that's how you play. I pick up a lot of information just before the off, dutching helps to make sure you have a chance of making profit on each race.
don't get too stressed about missing a race or meeting or even a day, just don't look at the results afterwards or it will drive you crazy but not as crazy as trying to bet on evrything
Probably talking rubbish and not helped or completely missed the point but that's it!
Good luck

With regards to studying form I was just the same not sure where to look and how to read form had no one to teach me as well so I found a quite a few videos on form study on youtube that helped me quite a bit. Videos where made by jhon sweet if I recall its channel is inform racing videos has loads of tips and advice on how to study form that I found usefull and helped me quite a bit have a look am sure it will be useful to you as a starting guide ofcourse . All the best
The best horse doesn't always win the race.

Cheers Dashing I will check that out and give it some thought, will keep building with what I am doing but would be good not to rely on others all the time, feel like I have a good feel for the game and love watching the horses, I have an app in which I note horses I like the look of and have picked quite a lot of next time out winners at decent prices! So must be doing something right lol
Thanks again looking forward to Cheltenham this week in UK
