Weird to hear the SA accent on Singapore previews. Listening to Sky Sports Radio on my phone and they crossed to Singapore.....I heard Gareth and thought...'oh they crossed to Fairview'

I think he is doing an awesome job there but his co-commentator seems like a bit of a jerk!
He isn't giving him much feedback when Gareth asks him questions.
I may be too critical but anyway, Gareth, top man!

I agree Chris ......... co-presenter responses hint at a bit of "nose-out-joint"...??

Rob, seems like the Australian stranglehold has been broken and they may not be too thrilled?

I speak to Gareth regularly on Skype, he is having an amazing time and loving his job... amazing that the powers that be/were saw fit to limit him in the main to Flamingo Park :S
Give everything but up!

Talking about the fickleness of the local scene ..................if you look at Neil Andrews mates from Super Saturday they all appear to have become persona non gratia, except for Shane McGregor
Terry Paine , Rod McCurdy etc etc never sighted again !!!!!

Its a pity Gareth was not given a more prominent slot in SA as a presenter (or maybe it was offered), yet we have old timers like Martin Locke taking up positions in KZN... so much for new blood in the game...

My opinion is that the powers that be had already identified their blue eyed boy so no matter what GP did, Flamingo Park was his lot...
