RACE 1 Beast Of Burden has looked very impressive his last 2 runs over varying trips and might be overlooked a bit in the betting 12/1 loos a decent ew punt

RACE2 Don Poli looks to be another strong winning chance for Mullins , won over hurdles on the card last year and if anything looks like the switch to chasing has improved him. 7/4 is not a backable price imo so will just watch

RACE3 Bardari stayed on really strongly to win last time and this extra trip could bring out a bit more improvement. Ran well at last years festival and could be a proper bet at 16/1

RACE4 Barry Gerraghty says he knew from home bend last time that Sprinter Sacre had nothing left and was the horses amazing ability that kept him so close to Dodging Bullets.I think they are queitly confident of him winning today and the price is very atractive at around 7/2

Today the bookies bite back as there is nothing that stands out as a definite winner.

I see Snow Falcon priced up for this race shame after Dave's write up on the Albert Bartlett what are it's chances in this race or is it a much stronger field?

Dave any idea?

Cheltenham day two (Boxing Day) or officially Ladies day so good viewing  well actually not that good it's the same crowd as yesterday just a little more drunk.
Hard betting day with the handicaps but place value so will be looking at 5 bets per race (crazy but it's only once a year).

R1 Nichols Canyon and Windsor Park, Vyta Du Roc ew (17 years since a non 5/6 year old won this race) Beast of Burden currently trading at over 9/1 and only one winner at double figure odds in last 10 years but it is close, Snow Falcon due to Dave's write up on the other race but only small stakes. 50% of the field mentioned so will split into small stakes to try make a little profit.

R2 Don Poli short odds but looks a very good horse and obvious stable form but 7 year olds have a strong hand in this race Kings Palace but drifting in market. ew chances for IfInDoubt/Young Master and Southfield Theatre.

R3 Historically not a favourites race. Volnay De Thaix fits the trends perfectly so looks good value as Henderson has a good record in this race, Un Atout also slips in but Mullins not prolific in this race but with the stable in form who knows. Hamersley Lake as an outsider. All long odds and ew shouts any strike will give a good profit. Put in Actival if you want a shorter price but only to cover the other three bets.

R4 Race of the day for me is Sprinter back to his best and how is Sire this year makes it an exciting race Sprinter Sacre at his best would win but I don't think he will get back there and his second LTO would buck a trend if he wins. Champagne Fever's recent wins have been on heavy so it takes him out for me.
Everything Points to top 4 in the market on trends so I think Sire De Grugy and ew on Dodging Bullets in this race.

R5 Struggling on this one so Any Currency, Toutancarmont and Duke Of Luca

R6 Big field and good prices so a win here would be more than welcome Bouvreuil, Business Sivola, Baron Alcon and Beatabout The Bush all with chances Basically anything that begins with a B so Box Office will probably romp home

R7 Bumpers and Willie Mullins wins most of these but not all in Ireland, he has a lot of horses the feed bill must be huge!

Bordini and Pylonthepressure are my biggest bets with smaller ew on (hold your breath) General Principle, Moon Racer, Jetstrem Jack, Wait For Me and Vigil.

Day two done I am at Cheltenham tomorrow so probably won't post unless anyone is that interested. Have a good day no ARM in that!
