the way some people talk is that by the time that those 4 gentleman retire there wont be any race courses left in SA to race on

Cyber racing might not be so far fetched world wide (hopefully not in my time) .................it seems that it is only the East that is keeping their head above water..................pity we seem too proud to find out what they doing right!

You can say whatever you want as long as you can prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

Come on guys, let's not be so fickle. Marcus is better than most jockeys here in SA, and he will lose on some fancied horses, just like any other jockey.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

If Anton was not retained by Jooste I'm sure the list of stables that would want to use him would comprise 95% of those registered with the NHRA. I remember him calling for a ride for horse from a small stable I was involved with - He placed it perfectly and gave it every chance and it only managed 4th (backed to favorite) - He told the connections, who thought the horse was a superstar, based on the fact that it had a Stallion's pedigree and cost 400k, that it was moderate and would not win many races- I think it eventually won two in PE and left to the paddocks after an unplaced start in Kimberley. One of the hardest workers around and is always available to answer questions from Journalists. His ride aboard Hill Fifty Four in the Met was brilliant as was his ride while Jaypeg's victory in the Dubai Duty Free was straight out of a Hollywood Movie or a DC Comic...SUPERMAN? Yes he is

Anybody see Adam Kirbys ride on Pretend at Lingfield just now. What a ride. 15 lengths behind the leader at the one furlong post and he still wins. No that's what I call a Super ride.

10 years 3 months agono budd did not see but from what u say to have kept such a horse 15 lengths behind and to reel the front horse in one furlong. Glad it won. I can't imagine what the critics would say if it did not.chicken n chips wrote: Anybody see Adam Kirbys ride on Pretend at Lingfield just now.
